Course Objectives

After completing this course, the participant will be able to:

• Apply the foundational principles of TCM, including yin-yang theory, the four examinations, and the assessment process for evaluating the horse.
• Trace the 12 major meridians and 2 extraordinary vessels in the horse, and explain their relationship to the zang-fu organ systems.
• Identify and use advanced acupoint selections, including association points, master points, source points, and point combinations.
• Structure a complete acupressure session for the horse, from posture and movement assessment through treatment and after-care.
