Maryland Acupuncture Continuing Education Requirements - Maryland Accepts ACEU Masters

Below are details about acupuncture continuing education and license renewal in Maryland.

Maryland Continuing Education Requirements: 30 hours are required during each two-year renewal period. At least 20 of the 30 hours must be completed through formally recognized programs, such as NCCAOM-approved continuing education. Maryland accepts all 30 hours through approved NCCAOM online continuing education courses. Licensees must attest to completion on state board forms and are subject to audit.

Maryland also has a one-time Implicit Bias and Structural Racism training requirement for license renewals effective April 1, 2026 and after.

For first-time license renewals after becoming licensed, only the one-time Implicit Bias training requirement applies.

ACEU Masters is a NCCAOM Approved PDA Continuing Education Provider and offers approved courses for Maryland acupuncture license renewal.
