Michigan Continuing Education Requirements: 30 hours are required every two-year renewal period by the time of the application for relicensure. A minimum of 5 hours are required in Pain Management and 2 hours in Implicit Bias. For first time renewals, completion of a one-time training to identify victims of human trafficking is required. Michigan accepts all 30 hours in approved NCCAOM online continuing education courses or CE Broker courses. Licensee must attest completion on state board forms and are subject to audit.
